Terms of Service

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to online services without a parent, whichever is higher. If you are below that age, you may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You can play as a guest or sign in through a supported provider (for example, Steam or Discord). A guest account is tied to your device: if you lose that device or its data before linking a provider, the account may be lost and we may be unable to restore it.

• Keep your login credentials safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person, one account for competitive play. Do not share, sell or trade accounts.
• Your name and tag are visible to other players. Do not pick names that are offensive, impersonate others or infringe anyone’s rights; we may change or remove such names.

3. License to play

The Game, its kings, maps, art, sound, code and all other content belong to BB Company or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms. Nothing is sold to you; all rights not expressly granted remain ours.

4. Fair play

Duels Kings is a competitive game. When you play, you must not:

• use cheats, bots, macros, modified clients or any software that gives an unfair advantage or automates play;
• exploit bugs instead of reporting them, manipulate matchmaking, win-trade or deliberately lose matches;
• interfere with servers or the network: tamper with game traffic, overload, attack or try to gain unauthorized access to the Services;
• reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Game, except where the law explicitly allows it;
• harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content;
• sell, buy or trade accounts or anything from the Game for real money outside the Services.

We may review matches, replays and reports to enforce these rules. Depending on the severity, we may warn you, reset your progress or rating, suspend or permanently ban your account, and block devices or accounts used to evade a ban.

5. Matches, replays and statistics

Your matches are recorded: results, statistics and a replay that lets the match be played back. Other players can see your name, statistics and match history, and replays may be viewable by others. You agree that we may display them in the Services and use them, together with your in-game name, in community and promotional materials about the Game.

6. A game in development

The Game is under active development. Features, kings, balance and rules may change at any time. During testing, seasons and early access we may reset accounts, ratings, statistics and match history. The Services are provided as they are, and we do not promise that they will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

7. Purchases

The Game is currently free to play and offers no purchases. If paid content is introduced, its price, what you receive and any refund rules will be shown before you buy, and purchases through platforms such as Steam will also follow that platform’s terms.

8. Third-party services

Signing in with Steam, Discord or other providers, and features such as showing your status in Discord, are governed by those providers’ own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Ending your use

You may stop using the Services at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop operating the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive it.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided without warranties of any kind, and BB Company is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, progress or rating. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify you in the Game or on this website. If you keep using the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
